SKADIS Magnet Installation Instructions

Thank-you for purchasing our SKADIS compatible magnets! These magnets utilize a T-slot anchoring design to ensure robustness.  See below for installation instructions.

1. Once you receive your order, you will notice that a bolt through the front of the magnet. The bolt runs into a nut that is captured in a ‘T’ shaped piece. 
2. Ensure that the top of the ‘T’ nut is away from the magnet, with the bottom leg of the ‘T’ toward the magnet. 
3. Ensure that there is about 5.5mm between the ‘T’ shape and the magnet back. 
4. (Back the magnet off the bolt till it reaches the end of the bolt. Maximum space between the Top of ‘T’ and the back of the magnet.)
5. Inset the nut into the SKADIS pegboard slot, make sure the two nubs in the back are inserted into the slot as well
6. Hold the magnet tightly with one hand, using the supplied tool (1.5mm Hex Allen key, though a 1.5mm screwdriver makes it a bit easier), tighten the bolt on the magnet
7. The T-slot nut will rotate 90 degrees and tighten against the pegboard.
8. Continue tightening until the magnet is tight to the pegboard. 
9. If the magnet is loose and the T-nut is not engaging, un-screw the magnet slightly until the top of the capital ‘T’ is behind the pegboard. Then repeat step 5.
