This is perfect. I got this to organize paint brushes. It will be paired with a flat shelf to keep the brushes from falling through. It arrived with my "pen storage" and, comparatively, a much better fit for my metal pegboard. Slid right in and sits level. Don't recommend putting anything remotely heavy towards the outer edge as it starts bowing but I just pressed it for a stress test. It can handle screwdriver equivalent things if needed. Biggest concern (so barely a negative) is the packaging being a bit minimal. It's not heavy/weak enough to break itself if dropped, but it was only wrapped in packing paper. It was all recyclable (Love), but first impression was there wasn't much to protect from dents if treated less kindly. Product wasn't broken, just my thoughts after seeing the mail person just drop the box on the porch..
